1890-O Morgan Silver Dollar New Orleans Mint

1890-O Morgan Silver Dollar, struck at the New Orleans Mint. The obverse features the classic portrait of Liberty facing left, wearing a Phrygian cap, with “E PLURIBUS UNUM” above and the date 1890 below. The reverse features the American eagle holding an olive branch and arrows, surrounded by “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and ONE DOLLAR. Condition Approximately VF20–VF30. The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper and is a classic example of the highly collected Morgan Dollar series.
