1921-S Morgan Silver Dollar, struck at the San Francisco Mint during the final year of the beloved Morgan Dollar series. Composed of 90% silver and 10% copper, this classic American silver dollar remains one of the most popular and widely collected coins in U.S. numismatics. Very Good (VG-8) to Fine (F-12). This example exhibits honest circulation wear consistent with extended use in commerce. The date, legends, and major design elements remain clearly visible, while Liberty's hair details and the eagle's breast feathers show moderate to heavy wear. The coin displays natural aging, scattered contact marks, and areas of darker toning typical of a well-circulated silver dollar. The 1921-S issue is part of the historic one-year revival of the Morgan Dollar series after a 17-year production hiatus. Later that same year, the Morgan design was retired and replaced by the Peace Dollar, making 1921 an important transitional year in American coinage.
