1919 Standing Liberty Quarter, one of the most iconic designs in American numismatics. Designed by Hermon A. MacNeil, this Type 2 issue features Liberty standing between two pedestals holding an olive branch and shield, while the reverse displays a majestic flying eagle. Fine (F-12) to Very Fine (VF-20) Details. This example shows honest circulation wear consistent with a coin that spent many decades in commerce. Major design elements remain visible, including Liberty's outline, shield details, date, and reverse eagle. The coin retains attractive original silver-gray surfaces with no obvious signs of harsh cleaning visible from the photographs. The Standing Liberty Quarter series is highly collected due to its short production run (1916-1930), beautiful artwork, and historical significance. A 1919 example makes an excellent addition to any early U.S. silver coin collection.
